Course Description:

Over the 10 weeks you will be provided with your own bay in which to develop your plumbing skills and be shown by your trainer (Richie) all of the best and lastest techniques, in addition to this you will also have your own classroom wher you will either have time where you will be shown the theory and background to al of the practical that you have done or study to develop your knowledge and evidence which will be provided to your asessor for your qualification.

On this qualification there are 6 units of study:

• Safety
• Baisc principles / proccesses
• Cold water supply
• Hot water supply
• Above ground drainage
• Customer relations & envcironmental consierations

Once the classroom work is finished and your trainers deems you to be able to go into assessment you will be moved into a dedicated "Phase Test" area where you will be given various tasks to complete independently, this would not just involve the "plumbing" but everything from start to finish:

1. Initial viewing and measurment taking
2. Equipment and materials identification
3. Ordering of equipment and materials
   
4. Production of quotation to customer with costsing and profit margins
5. Completion of risk asessment and method statement
6. Dealing with customers effectively
7. Dealing with complaints effectively
