Course Description:

This 5 day course is broady divided into two sections of study:

1. In depth first aid knowledge designed to give you the knowledge you require to be able to effectively teach courses up to 4 Day  First Aid at Work and be able to competently answer questions from the students you teach and provide you with a sound understanding of how to keep yourself up to date with all of the changes that may happen AFTER the course has finished.

2. Cutting edge training skills and confidence to be able to deliver training courses to whatever range of students you may be presented with. All of our trainers on this course are qualified to degee level in teaching and learning and regularly train trainers and teachers across the country up to level 4 (cert ed) so you will be sure that their passion and knowledge is passed on to you throughout the course.

This course is in line with the First aid Approvals and Monitoring Section of the HSE and satisfies all the eligablity criteria for the approval of individuals that need to teach 4 day first aid at work courses, centres need to prove that:

1. They have a current 4 Day First Aid at Work Certificate or be a General Nurse or medical practitioner
2. A Training Qualification and or experience of training
3. Background within first aid in the workplace

We must point out that it is not the idividual that is approved by the HSE but the centre, this qualification gives you the desirables that allows you to be accredited under approved centres. like here at Beyond Learning or indeed become approved as a centre if you are starting your own business or delivering the course at you company or workplace.

The Professional Trainers Certificate is Awarded by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and is a nationally recognised qualification that has been designed to allow people to get the essential training skills without having to go to college for 2 years. it also is one of the requirements for approval as a tutor to deliver some of their many courses that they offer like Basic food hygiene and health and safety, why not have a look at their website and see some of the possibilities that this qualification will give youhttp://www.cieh.org.uk
