This course is aimed at people who have the responsibility to undertake. assess and/or continue to manage the risk of a DSE user. 

This course has been developed to give candidates sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992, which require employers to:

• Identify and take measures to rectify safety and health hazards to visual DSE users
• Provide specific information and training to workers
• Plan daily work routines
• Protect workers eyes and eyesight plus other important legal obligations

Some of the areas covered within this course are:-

• assessment techniques                                                                                                                          
• eyes and eyesight
• fatigue
• record and review
• repetitive strain injuries
• upper limb disorders
• stress
• risk reduction.

By the end of the course delegates should:

• Have an understanding of the Display Screen Equipment regulations 1992
• Have a clear understanding of their responsibilities under this legislation
• Provide specific information to DSE users
• Effectively plan daily work routines.
