Train 2 Gain
Working in partnership with East Durham and Houghall Community College, we now have access to to this funding. Train to gain is a relatively new funding initiative aimed at employers and companies (not individuals) and esentially provides any members of staff who do not hold a level 2 qualification with free training to their first level 2 qualifications, this couls be in any kind of industry for any qualification i.e. contruction trades, team leading and management, administration, food safety management systems etc...
A skills broker would come and see you intially and identify the training needs of the company, then training providers would be engaged and the training would be delivered. This funding really is worth its weight in gold and lots of companies have made the most of this funding and are now m
aking the most of their company.
