Course Description:

Recent news articles and research has produced us with some quite disturbing figures about businesses failing.   Getting the message through to those at the head of a business is absolutely vital.

• After falling for 2 years, business failiures in the UK jumped to 18112 last year, the highest number recorded since 2002, according to a report from Experian.
• The company said that 4,501 businesses closed their doors in the final 4 months of 2005, a 7% rise over 2004
• Businesses in the North East suffered the worst as the rate of insolvency rocketed by 59%, the west mindlands finished a distant second with 19%
• Experian expect the figures to rise again in 2006

This course is designed to take you from an initial start up through to a successful business.  Your mentor, who successfully runs 3 limited companies will work with you from start to finish, so there is no need to attend workshops and waste valuable business opportunities. You will also have access to your mentor on the telephone or email 24 hours a day, so when problems arise, give him a call and evaluate your concerns and thoughts, whilst at the same time getting valuable advice and feedback from someone who has "been there before".

As and when you do things like employ people, register for VAT, measure the effects of advertising campaigns you simply collect the evidence and discuss it with your mentor. Provided everything is satisfactory then it will be signed off and you will get your certificate.
