Management Coaching and Mentoring Practice

• Agree development goals
• Planning a coaching or mentoring programme
• Undertake coaching or mentoring and reflect on own performance

Structure and content

• A short induction lasting 1 hour, plus
• Minimum 2 hours' tutorial guidance, plus
• One 30-hour and one 12-hour unit
• PLUS 12 hours of  practical coaching/mentoring in the workplace

Duration of the course

Minimum of 45 guided learning hours, excluding assessment, plus 12 hours of practical coaching activity, to be completed normally within one year, or up to a maximum of 2 years.

Candidates who achieve this qualification will be eligible to apply for the minimum grade of Associate Membership (AMInstLM)
